All Shall Be Well (reprise)

from Midsummer Night demos by Milburn & Vigoda

/

lyrics

PUCK
(softly, to OBERON)
On the ground,
sleep sound.
I'll apply
(and PUCK cracks open the final capsule over OBERON's eyelids. )
to your eye
gentle lover,
remedy.
(OBERON wakes, sits up and gazes into PUCK's eyes, filled with love. )
When thou wakest,
Thou takest
True delight
In the sight
Of thy truest lady’s (lover’s) eye.
(OBERON kisses PUCK.)
(The rest of the COMPANY enters, all the couples hand in hand.)
FULL COMPANY (EXCEPT PUCK & OBERON)
And the country proverb known
That every man should take his own
In your waking shall be shown.
Jack shall have Jill.
Nought shall go ill.
PUCK
The man shall have his mare again, and all shall be well.
